The Opportunity
The Senior Business Analyst - Business Improvement will focus on the client’s enterprise marketing systems, operations and organisation. The role involves unpacking the details of automation opportunities, providing in-depth analysis and working closely with stakeholders to refine and prioritise initiatives.
The appointed person will collaborate with a Solution Architect to support the development of a strategic roadmap and ensure alignment with broader business objectives. A Business Analyst will leverage your insights to develop a business case or investment pack.
This is a Melbourne-based contract role, initially set for a six-month term with a high likelihood of one or several extensions, or permanent appointment.
The Role’s Key Responsibilities
- Deep-Dive Process Analysis: Conduct a thorough analysis of business processes down to an L3 level to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement, with a specific focus on marketing and end-to-end workflows.
- Process Optimisation & Improvement: Develop data-driven recommendations to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and leverage automation where appropriate.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Work closely with Business Champions, Product Owners, End
- Users, and IT Architecture to gather requirements, understand pain points, and align on proposed improvements.
- Business Requirements Documentation: Translate findings into clear and structured business requirements, user stories, and process maps to support solution development.
- Alignment with Technology Roadmap: Partner with the IT Architecture team to ensure business improvement initiatives align with strategic technology objectives and are scalable and sustainable.
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on process improvement and optimisation
- Strong expertise in process improvement frameworks such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and drive effective solutions.
- Proven ability to extract insights from existing consulting documentation and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Your experience in a high profile business or technology consulting firm will be highly regarded.
The day rates offer are attractive, commensurate with the experience I am seeking. You must have unrestricted rights to work in Australia and be available within 3-4 weeks.
