The Role:

I am in active recruiting and interviewing mode for the newly-created role of Cloud and Systems Engineer, which will be part of the Infrastructure and Development team; they will join the Sydney group on a full time permanent basis, being the role genuinely hybrid in format.

This role will be ideal for someone who is flexible, adaptable, and possesses a thirst for innovation. Their energy will open many opportunities for career building and development.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:
  • Maintenance of the IT and development Infrastructure (Hardware, Office 365, Azure, Windows, Microsoft, SQL, networking, security, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, TeamCity or CI/CD pipeline platforms).
  • Ensure the availability, performance and security of the IT Infrastructure globally.
  • Contribute to IT Infrastructure delivery and communication with technical and non-technical business stakeholders.
  • IT client project delivery
You will likely have and be able to demonstrate:
  • 3-5 years of experience in the maintenance and IT infrastructure and problem solving in the space
  • Robust understanding of technology issues (security, privacy and best practice protocols)
  • A strong technical background (Office 365, Azure, Windows, networking) with relevant IT Certifications 
  • Comfortable providing hands-on support as well as closely collaborating the technical and business teams
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across globally dispersed teams in
  • Ability to communicate effectively, whether it is through technical documentation or group and individual, internal and external interactions
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), which will be considered a plus.
